
High school musical season marches on this weekend with four more local schools nearly ready to raise their curtains.
Seussical the Musical at AC Valley High School Auditorium officially opens tonight at 7 p.m. with additional shows Friday at 7 and a Saturday matinée at 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and cost $8 for adults or $5 for students.
Then on Friday, Butler will stage Monty Python’s Spamalot School Edition at 7:30 p.m. in the Senior High Auditorium followed by another performance at the same time on Saturday. Reserved seat tickets are $15 and are available at May’s Music Shoppe or at the door.
Also on Friday, Mars students are preparing “Peter Pan” with 7:30 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday, as well as a 1:30 p.m. matinee show in the Auditorium. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online with more information on the Mars website.
Finally, Moniteau is presenting “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” beginning Friday at 7 p.m. and continuing Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance by email.
