A former swim coach from Beaver County who also was a contracted therapist in Butler County is facing charges for having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
29-year-old Alaina Marshall is facing nearly 40 criminal charges after she had a sexual relationship with a teenage student at Riverside High School.
Marshall also was an employee of Glade Run Lutheran Services and worked as a contracted therapist at Seneca Valley School District. She has since been placed on leave. Officials note that none of the alleged crimes happened in the district.
Police say the relationship began when the teen was a sophomore and went on for two years.
Marshall was taken into custody and is being held in the Beaver County Prison on $250,000 bond.
