A woman accused of shooting and killing a man in Cranberry Township is pleading no contest after reaching a deal with prosecutors.
28-year-old Amanda Hughes was charged with homicide following the death of Anthony Smith at a home in Cranberry in February 2023.
Hughes claimed self-defense in the shooting.
District Attorney Rich Goldinger says Hughes will “receive credit for time served, and a period of probation to be determined by the court.”
Hughes is set for sentencing on March 7th.
