A statewide grant will see funds come into Butler County to expand opportunities for farmer-veterans.
The Department of Agriculture recently announced that Community Partnership was awarded $100,000 to provide funding to military veterans to establish or expand farming operations as well as make them more profitable and sustainable.
An additional $200,000 grant was distributed to the PA Veteran Farming Network for statewide use.
