Cranberry Township Police is warning residents to be aware of packages being stolen off porches.
Our news partners at WPXI report that one resident recently had security footage of someone taking a package off their porch. The suspect was wearing a red hoodie and drove off in a dark colored SUV.
These criminals are known as porch pirates, and are more common this time of year. Experts say if your package is stolen, you should file a police report, notify your credit card company, and file a claim with the shipping company.
