High School Sports:
–The Mars girls volleyball team won the WPIAL Class 3A championship following a 3-1 match win over Beaver Saturday afternoon.
–North Allegheny defeated North Catholic 3-1 Saturday evening to claim the WPIAL Class 4A girls volleyball championship.
–Freeport fell in their bid to reach the state tournament, falling 3-0 to Hampton in the Class 3A consolation game.
