The Rolling Stones had their biggest summer of their legendary career while on their Hackney Diamonds Tour. The rock and roll icons played a series of 18 shows in 15 cities throughout the United States and Canada, and according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, the tour earned the Stones $235 million while selling 848,000 tickets. Based on those totals, the Stones scored the highest-earning summer of their celebrated career. Its 2022 tour, Sixty, earned the group $120.8 million, and the largest of its four No Filter Tour legs brought in $177.8 million in 2019. While they have earned more money on lengthier tours, the Stones have never brought in more than $200 million in a single season. The Hackney Diamonds Tour becomes the Stones’ sixth tour to earn more than $200 million, and their 10th to gross more than $100 million, with both figures setting Boxscore records. (Billboard)
