The Slippery Rock University Department of Dance is preparing for a performance this weekend.
The department is hosting its annual Faculty and Guest Artist concert on Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. at the Miller Theater in the Performing Arts Center.
Students will participate as dancers and production staff alongside faculty members and internationally known guest artists. Performances consisting of various styles and techniques will be featured including one with break dancing accompanied by live funk and jazz drumming alongside traditional Chinese instrumentalists.
Admission for the show is $15 through the SRU website or at the Smith Student Center information desk.
