North Main Street in Chicora has been closed after one person crashed into a utility pole this morning.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center at 9:30 a.m. for a vehicle driving into a pole on the 400 block of Main Street. North Main Street was then closed starting at old Friedman’s.
One person was extricated from the vehicle as crews work to turn off the power lines. The person was then taken via medical helicopter to an area hospital.
Crews are still working to clear the scene.
Drivers should avoid the area.
