No children were injured in a vehicle crash this morning that involved a school bus in Slippery Rock.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center Shortly before 8 a.m. for a report of three vehicle accident involving a school bus at the intersection of Route 8 and Kiester Road.
According to officials with the Slippery Rock School District the bus was rear ended by another driver. The school bus driver suffered an injury that required them to be taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
The bus was on its way to pick up students for the Slippery Rock Area Elementary School, but no students were on the bus at the time of the accident.
Changes were made to some bus routes to get the children to school and accommodations were made for the students that arrived late due to delays caused by the accident.
