A medical helicopter transported a man for treatment of serious injury following an accident involving a tree Tuesday afternoon in Brady Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 2:30 p.m. for a man who was stuck by a tree in the 100 block of Snyder Road.
When crews from Slippery Rock and Butler Ambulance arrived, they found man in his 70s far back in the woods in severe pain with chest and lower extremity injuries. He was also having trouble breathing.
A STAT MedEvac helicopter was called to land in a field near the scene. The man was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for additional treatment and his condition is unknown at this time.
