Police have charged a Romanian woman in connection with a theft that happened in and two different locations late last week.
The alleged theft happened last Friday at the CVS in Mars. Two women went into the CVS with tote bags and stole over $2,700 worth of Maybelline products.
The two women are alleged to have stolen from the Wexford store earlier in that day as well. After the two women left the Mars store police were able to track down the vehicle the women left in.
When the vehicle was spotted, a traffic stop was conducted and 21-year-old Vasile Ionita was driving. Police were able to connect video evidence on the day of the theft to Ionita.
Ionita has been charged with retail theft, theft by unlawful taking, and corruption of minors. He is being held in the Butler County Prison a $150,000 bail.
