New numbers from the Department of Labor show that unemployment remains low in Pennsylvania.
The unemployment rate for September remained unchanged at 3.4 percent. That is the 12th straight month where unemployment stayed at the same rate, which is the longest streak on record.
Pennsylvania’s non-farm jobs were up 6,800 over the month, and hit a record high of just over 6.2 million.
