A Slippery Rock University event this weekend will connect young children with music.
On Saturday, SRU’s Early Childhood and Elementary Music Community Engagement Initiative Event Series will kick off with “Sing. Move. Play” from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Swope Music Hall.
Elementary school aged kids and families will be guided through musical activities such as story time and crafts. Costumes are welcome. Tickets for this free event are available through the SRU website.
Additional events in this series are planned for November, February, and April.
