The East Butler Baseball Association has begun the search for land to build baseball fields.
After negotiations ended with the East Butler Borough, the EBBA continued their season and played their games in Prospect.
Last week the EBBA met with Summit Township officials at a township meeting in search of five to seven acres of land.
In a release the association has begun seeking a new location by donation, lease, or purchase. Then once land has been acquired they will seek local, state, and federal funding along with help from the community and private funding for construction.
Summit Township did not reach any agreement with the Association. The EBBA presence at the meeting was simply to see if the township would be interested or if there was any land available for purchase.
