Lenny Kravitz shared intimate details about his personal life during a recent interview with The Guardian to promote his new album, Blue Electric Light. The newly 60-years-old musician says that he has put his promiscuous days behind him, after being disgusted with his behavior following the end of his marriage to Lisa Bonet. “After the marriage, I became more like [my father]. I was becoming a player. I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to be that guy. So I had to tackle that and it took years. Not letting my own desires take over.” Kravitz revealed that he hasn’t been in a serious relationship for nine years, and when asked if his claim of being celibate until he found the right woman was accurate, Kravitz said, “Yes. It’s a spiritual thing. I have become very set in my ways, in the way I live.” (Complex)
