Jane’s Addiction Announces Extensive Tour With Classic Lineup

Alternative rock forefathers Jane’s Addiction have just announced an upcoming North American tour that will feature all four members of the band’s original lineup for the first time in 14 years. Frontman Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery will hit the road for a run of 25 shows across the U.S. and Canada this August and September, with support coming from English alt-rock legends Love and Rockets. A new documentary, Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza, the iconic music festival started by Farrell as a farewell tour for Jane’s Addiction in 1991, just premiered on Paramount+. Jane’s Addiction are currently playing a series of shows in the U.K. and Europe. While the band hasn’t released an album since 2011’s The Great Escape Artist, Jane’s just premiered a new song called “Imminent Redemption” at their London show last week. (Pitchfork)
