Bruce Springsteen has had to postpone four concerts on the current E Street Band’s European tour due to his vocal issues. Springsteen’s show in Marseille on Saturday night was postponed at the very last minute, with the singer citing “doctor’s direction” over concerns with an unspecified vocal issue. But after receiving additional treatment, it was determined that a show in Prague and two dates in Milan would also need to be postponed in order for Springsteen to rest his voice. “Following yesterday’s postponement in Marseille due to vocal issues, further examination and consulting has led doctors to determine that Bruce should not perform for the next ten days,” said a statement on Springsteen’s Instagram. “Bruce is recuperating comfortably, and he and the E Street Band look forward to resuming their hugely successful European stadium tour on June 12 in Madrid.” (Rolling Stone)
