Lenny Kravitz has big plans for the live shows surrounding his upcoming album, Blue Electric Light. His 12th studio record is set for release on May 24, and on Monday the rock icon announced that the tour dates in support of Blue Electric Light will include a high-profile Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The limited engagement run of five shows will take place on October 18, 19, 23, 25, and 26. Blue Electric Light will be Kravitz’s first full-length album since 2018’s Raise Vibrations. Lenny recently described the overall vibes of his new album as, “Celebration. Life. Humanity. Love. Sexuality. Sensuality. Spirituality.” Kravitz played nearly all of the instruments on the record, along with guitarist Craig Ross. The title of the album – as well as his forthcoming Las Vegas residency – apparently came to Kravitz very late in the recording process. (Rolling Stone)
