In a new interview with Slash by The Daily Star, the guitarist revealed that Guns N’ Roses are attempting to make a new album together. “Guns N’ Roses are trying to make their own record,” the guitarist revealed while promoting his new solo album, Orgy of the Damned. “And I’m working with them in that capacity, but this didn’t involve anyone else. It was my own side thing, so I wasn’t dragging my own guys in.” While Slash didn’t bring in any of his Guns N’ Roses brethren to help with his new solo effort, there are a ton of special guests appearing on the record, like Iggy Pop, Steven Tyler, Brian Johnson, Billy Gibbons, Chris Stapleton, Gary Clark, Jr., Demi Lovato, and Chris Robinson. Slash didn’t play on the last GNR album, 2008’s Chinese Democracy, but he has been featured on the band’s recent singles, “Shadow of Your Love,” “Absurd,” “Hard Skool,” “Perhaps,” and “The General.” (Ultimate Classic Rock)
