Legendary Pink Floyd guitarist/vocalist David Gilmour has announced the details of his first shows in the United States since 2016. The concerts will take place on October 29-30 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, followed by two shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 4-5. Gilmour will also play a run of six shows at both Rome’s Circo Massimo and London’s Royal Albert Hall in September and October. The 78-year-old Gilmour will be touring in support of his forthcoming new album, Luck and Strange, which is due out on September 6. That will mark Gilmour’s first new record in nine years, and the title track of the album features an appearance from late Pink Floyd keyboardist Rick Wright which was recorded back in a 2007 session in Gilmour’s barn.
