Bruce Springsteen’s history-making 1984 album, Born In The U.S.A., is set to get a re-issue in celebration of the 40th anniversary of its original release. Sony Music is commemorating the occasion by putting out a special-edition of the Springsteen classic on translucent red vinyl with expanded packaging that will feature a gatefold sleeve, four-color lithograph, and an exclusive booklet that will include archival material from the era and liner notes written by Erik Flannigan. Born In The U.S.A. spawned an unprecedented seven Top 10 singles at the time, and has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. The reissue of Born In The U.S.A. is set to arrive on June 4, exactly 40 years to the day since its original release. (NME)
