March is Red Cross Month and officials are urging residents to donate blood.
The American Red Cross says that spring is a great time to make the donations. They say that those with Type O blood are critical to ensuring hospitals can meet the daily demand for transfusions.
The Red Cross is also offering a $10 e-gift card to pet suppliers if you make a donation before March 24th.
