After being idle since Monday’s loss in Arizona, the Pittsburgh Penguins have back-to-back games this weekend at PPG Paints Arena. The Pens host the Florida Panthers tonight for a 7pm face-off, then host Montreal tomorrow night.
The Pens have lost two straight games and are 3-6 in the month of January. The Panthers come to town with a two-game winning streak and have the second-best record in the Eastern Conference. They have 62 points this season in 47 games. The Penguins have 48 points over 44 games.
