An investigation is ongoing after a Lawrence County man allegedly wrote several bad checks worth nearly $70,000.
According to State Police, an unidentified 34-year-old New Castle man and a 51-year-old Greensburg man were engaged in contracting work between 2021 and 2023.
Authorities say that the New Castle man wrote approximately seven bad checks to the Greensburg man between January 2022 and August 2022 that totaled $68,656.
It was not immediately known if there were any other victims who received back checks from the suspect.
