Congressman Mike Kelly has introduced a bipartisan bill that aims to bring more investment into mental health research.
The bill is called the “Mental Health Research Accelerator Act and it will incentivize private companies to partner with academic or nonprofit research institutions on neurological and mental health research.
Kelly says the companies should have the resources to help fund the research too.
Kelly says the new legislation “allows America’s tax system to work for the American people by incentivizing research partnerships into brain health.”
