The New York Mets defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 7-2 last night. Rookie starting pitcher Quinn Priester allowed six runs on seven hits. He allowed at least a run in each of his five innings of work. Ke’Bryan Hayes had two of the Pirates five hits.
The Bucs and Mets play again tonight at 7:10pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:45pm. Bailey Falter will make his third start for the Pirates.
