The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward prospect Valtteri Puustinen to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000. Puustinen has been the leading scorer for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Baby Penguins over the past two seasons. He has scored 44 goals and 101 points since arriving from Finland for the 2021-22 season. He was a seventh-round draft pick in 2019 under then general manager Jim Rutherford.
