Those interested in getting an up-close view at some majestic birds are invited to a special event this weekend.
Moraine State Park will hold a program called Eagle Eyes on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Davis Hollow Marina.
Park Naturalists will share information about the biology of these birds as well as lead those in attendance on a short hike that will feature a view of a pair of nesting eagles at the park.
Those interested in attending are also reminded to dress for the weather, and to bring binoculars if they have them.
