At least one person was injured as a result of a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon in Jefferson Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 12:30 p.m. for the crash at the intersection of Freeport (Route 356) and Great Belt Roads.
Crews from Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company and Saxonburg EMS arrived on the scene where a motorcycle was down on the road next to a man. It is not known if any other vehicles were involved.
A Stat-Med-eVac helicopter was called to land at the Saxonburg Fire Hall and the man was transported for treatment of unknown injuries.
