Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Colorado Avalanche will be played in Tampa, Florida. Face-off is 8pm. Colorado leads the series 2-1.
The NHL Awards were presented last night in Tampa. Toronto Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews won the Hart Trophy as the league’s Most Valuable Player, becoming the first Toronto player to win the award since 1955. Matthews scored 60 goals during the season. He also took home the Ted Lindsay Award for most outstanding player, an honor voted on by players.
New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin won the Vezina Trophy as the league’s best net-minder. Calgary head coach Darryl Sutter was the Jack Adams coach of the year winner.
