James A. Robinson, 66, of Butler, was called Home by our Lord on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 1, 1955 in Butler, the son of the late James D. Robinson and Ruth (Lawson) Robinson of Kentucky.
James enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and his hideaway camp. He retired from AK Steel. His favorite Bible verse was John 3:16.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen M. (Isherwood) Robinson whom he married August 9, 1997; his mother, Ruth A. Robinson; a sister, Carol (Kenneth) Weleski of KY; 2 nephews, Timothy (Abigail) Weleski and Gregory (Farrah) Weleski, all of Kentucky: son, Paul (Holly) Walter of Missouri; great nieces and nephew, Olivia, James, and Aleksis Weleski; grandchildren, Alex and Adam Walter.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received at Young Funeral Home, Ltd., 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 AM with Pastor Mary Jo Gould of Thorncreek United Methodist Church officiating.
Private interment in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.
