Butler County will be undergoing a review on some aspects of the 2020 Election.
According to County Commissioner Leslie Osche, the review is going to focus on how ballots were counted from Election Day to when they were certified. “What we’re trying to determine right now, is that the final number that was certified was accurate,” Osche said.
She expressed concern with how the numbers were tracked from the beginning of Election Day through the final counting of military ballots. Osche says though surrounding the review are still preliminary until they meet with the county’s election director Aaron Sheasley.
“We can’t really go into more detail until Aaron goes back and has the opportunity to clarify with us what was the changes in the counts from let’s say November 3rd to the 5th, and then from the 12th to the 13th,” Osche said.
County commissioners say the review will happen sometime early next year.
