New legislation is circulating in Harrisburg that addresses so-called “skill games” in Pennsylvania.
Senator Gene Yaw says a bill he’s introducing in the Senate would bring more regulation to relatively new gambling field.
I want to make sure that there’s accountability for these legal skill games, and also will be asking my colleagues in the general assembly to pass legislation that provides regulation and enforcement of the games along with ample taxes to the state from the industry,” Yaw said.
Another bill in the house looks to crack down on illegal skill games, which supporters say will benefit the regulated gambling entities in Pennsylvania.
