Healthy community members are encouraged to help neighbors in need through participation in several upcoming blood drives.
An American Red Cross drive is coming up Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh in Cranberry. Additional Cranberry Township collections are planned for November 16th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the 22nd at the Rose E Schneider Family YMCA.
A Butler collection will take place on November 8th from 1 to 6:30 p.m. at the Days Inn on Route 8 South. Anyone who donates at these drives will receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card by email as well as be registered for a chance to win a trip for two to Hawaii.
Those able to donate are asked to make an appointment through the website of the American Red Cross, the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
