Two motorists suffered suspected serious injuries following a two vehicle crash that occurred last week in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
According to State Police, a 70-year-old New Castle man was attempting to pull out of a parking lot onto 422 West just after 7:30pm on Wednesday (October 20th).
Authorities say that the man allegedly did not yield to oncoming traffic, and was struck by an oncoming Peterbilt truck. Police say that the New Castle man and his passenger, a 65-year-old woman, were injured and flown to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital for treatment.
Police say that their investigation into Wednesday’s crash is ongoing.
