Local police are holding a drug take back event tomorrow.
Butler Township Police will be at the Walmart inside the Butler Commons from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cranberry Township Police will set up during the same time in the rear parking lot of the Municipal Center.
Police say they will offer a secure and safe process to dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired medications. In addition, the Cranberry Township Police will be accepting used eyeglasses on behalf of the Cranberry Township Lions Club’s Mission – Vision program.
They add that IV solutions, injectables and syringes, along with illegal drugs will not be accepted at this event. If you are disposing a vape pen or e-cigarette you need to remove the batteries.
