Authorities are asking for the public’s help with identifying the suspect or suspects involved in a recent theft that occurred in nearby Lawrence County.
According to State Police, at least one unknown person allegedly broke into a barn on Haggerty Road in Little Beaver Township on October 8th.
Authorities say that that the suspect or suspects then stole a Husqvarna chain saw and a 2020 CanAM Maverick Sport 1000 side by side. Officials say that the chain saw is valued at $1,400, and the side by side is valued at $20,000.
Police also say that there was a suspicious vehicle seen near the barn around the time of the theft. The vehicle is described as a white 2012 Ford Fusion with the license plate number LGX6886.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the New Castle barracks of the State Police at 724-598-2211.
