There was a decline in COVID cases for Butler County over the past week according to Department of Health data.
There were just shy of 600 cases over the last seven days—which is down by almost 200 cases compared to the week before.
Deaths though continue to rise, with another 12 added to the death toll since last Friday. There now have been 483 Butler County residents who have died due to COVID since last year.
Our newsroom did not hear from Butler Health System regarding the latest update on how many people were currently in the hospital with COVID.
