Today kicks off the start of Homecoming festivities at Slippery Rock University.
After a virtual celebration last year, this year’s theme is “Out of This World” beginning with a Silent Disco Glow Party from 8 to 10 p.m. in the Smith Student Center Ballroom.
Festivities really kick into high gear Friday at 8 p.m. with a pep rally and fireworks display. Then Saturday morning will see a homecoming parade at 10 a.m. on Main Street in Slippery Rock.
Alumni will have the opportunity to tour campus throughout the weekend and also take in sporting events—highlighted by a matchup between The Rock and IUP Football teams at 1 p.m. Saturday.
