The scheduled rock blasting on Route 228 has been rescheduled for later this week.
Originally, PennDOT crews were going to shut down a portion of Route 228 in Middlesex Township for the construction work today from 1-1:30 p.m.
Now, the project will move to tomorrow through Friday with scheduled blasts happening at 1 p.m. each day.
If the weather is poor, the project will move to next Monday.
This is a part of the ongoing work on the Ball’s Bend portion of Route 228 as the highway undergoes a major reconstruction.
