With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, students at Butler County Community College are fundraising once again to help fund research.
BC3’s Project Pink campaign is now in its second year with funds benefitting the Side-Out Foundation—which is a cancer awareness charity that raises funds through volleyball events.
Typically BC3 hosts its Dig Pink game every year, which has helped the college amass nearly $20,000 in funds over the last 10 years. However, the college is not hosting Dig Pink this year.
But, other fundraising efforts are underway to help support the cause at all BC3 locations in the area.
