Slippery Rock University is launching a new campaign to get more students vaccinated.
The university announced its “Rock the Shot” initiative now has an added twist. If the campus gets to a 75 percent vaccination rate among its students, SRU President Dr. Bill Behre will get a permanent tattoo.
While no official number was given on the campus’s current vaccination rate—it is at least below 65 percent. The school set a goal of getting to that rate by November 1st, and then a drawing will be held for parking passes.
And then if the campus gets to 70 percent, one student will receive free tuition for the spring semester.
