After the hot weather delayed the start of the school year, students at Butler Catholic School are set for their first day of class.
Last week, the school decided that temperatures were too hot for students to be inside a building that doesn’t have air conditioned classrooms.
Also, Butler Catholic students will have to mask up at the beginning of the year after the Diocese of Pittsburgh decided to make masks a requirement for all Catholic schools.
Diocese officials say they will reevaluate the decision at the end of September.
