Two Pittsburgh area volunteers are on their way to help with relief efforts in Texas after the impact of Hurricane Ida.
Charlie Williamson of Washington and John Breitweiser of Whitehall left the Strip District in Pittsburgh yesterday morning to make the 19 hour drive to Beaumont, Texas.
The pair has helped with the American Red Cross relief efforts for over 10 years.
The two Vietnam veterans will be a part of a larger effort to help feed people and distribute meals.
