The growing number of COVID-19 cases in Butler County continued this week.
More than 360 new cases were reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Health for the county. There were also three additional deaths, bringing the overall death toll to 428.
Local hospitalizations remain high as well, with 21 patients being treated for the coronavirus at Butler Memorial Hospital and seven COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide hospitalizations grew by another 300 this week; there are now more than 1,600 people hospitalized with COVID in Pennsylvania.
