Local COVID hospitalizations are down slightly from last week.
According to a Monday morning update from Butler Memorial Hospital, they were treating nine patients for the coronavirus, with three COVID patients in the ICU.
That’s down from 10 on Thursday.
Statewide hospitalizations went above 1,000 for the first time since early June. The Department of Health says about a third of those patients are in the ICU.
