Cleanup is happening today in parts of the city as they recover from Tuesday’s strong storms.
The system moved through downtown Butler around 1:30 p.m. and brought heavy rain along with lightning and thunder.
Parts of the City’s West End once again dealt with flooding as rain poured in heavy amounts very quickly.
Power was knocked out to nearly 2,000 county residents according to First Energy. However, all power is restored as of this morning.
The Butler County 911 Center handled around a dozen calls due to the severe weather.
