A Westmoreland County man has died following a motorcycle crash that occurred earlier this weekend in Fairview Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, a 50-year-old motorcyclist was traveling on Kittanning Pike around 7pm on Friday when he allegedly lost control of his motorcycle and struck a ditch and a car wash sign on the side of the roadway.
Authorities say that the motorcyclist was transported to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, but later passed away due to their injuries.
No other motorists were involved in Friday’s crash.
