One person was killed in a vehicle accident Friday evening.
According to the police report, Butler Twp. police responded to a two vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on 422 East between Mercer and Duffy Roads. The motorcycle was operated by a 43-year-old male from Butler. Police say he collided with the rear of an SUV occupied by three individuals. The male sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. No one in the SUV was injured.
Route 422 from route 356 to route 8 was closed for over three hours. This crash is still being investigated with more details to be released at a later time.
